  • Little Red School House

The Little Red House is one of the three historical sites in Lyndhurst. The museums shows a huge transition from agricultural era to modern era in one generation. It was built in 1804 until they torn it down and built a new one in 1893. The special part of this museum's history is that this school house was used for third graders until the 1980s. The original bell to call the children for school is still located on the top of the building and the bell can be accessed by the string in the coat room. Many people living around this area would want to ring that bell.
